Fulkerson & Associates, Inc. can provide a highly qualified cooling tower expert engineer who can investigate problems you may have with your cooling towers. We are experienced with concrete, wood fiberglass and steel cooling towers. Our scope of experience ranges from small air-conditioning packaged cooling towers to the large concrete natural (hyperbolic) cooling towers used by many nuclear power plants. We can provide thermal performance testing in accordance with CTI ATC-105 or ASME PTC-23 test codes. The cooling tower expert can offer suggestions which can improve the performance or extend the life of your cooling towers. We can also provide expert opinions or testimony when litigation is necessary. A cooling tower expert can assist attorneys to prepare for litigation, arbitration, mediation or depositions. We are consultants who are not employed by any cooling tower vendor except as a consultant. We do not sell cooling towers, tower repairs, or materials for cooling towers. We are completely unbiased consultants.

Qualifications

Robert Fulkerson has over 40 years experience in the cooling tower industry which includes thermal testing, repairing, upgrading, designing and manufacturing cooling towers. He was a member of the Cooling Technology Institute and was active in that organization for over 35 years. He was elected to the Board of Directors of CTI in 1986 and served as Vice president and president of CTI. He also served as Chairman of the CTI Performance and Technology Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the CTI Journal and as Editor of the CTI News Letter.

Mr. Fulkerson is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and was one of the authors of ASME's PTC-23 test code. Mr. Fulkerson has presented numerous technical papers before the Cooling Technology Institute and the Electric Power Research Institute.
